If you have a tiller, then you also have the optional hydraulic PTO for the tiller to plug into. The engine should have oval, pancake mufflers that hang down vertically right in front of the engines heads. The PTO will engage by sliding a lever vertically in the dash tower. The grill will be black, as will the engine. The hood, fenders, fuel tank and seat pedestal will be painted Desert Sunset which is a yellowy beige colour. If your tractor is still "original" then the axles, frame and wheel rims will all be painted Power Red. Anyone who has ever painted anything tends to think painting is not skilled work. They move on fast-causing a turnover that is problematic in itself. The pool of people willing to take on painting jobs is very often filled with unskilled workers who need the money but never get to feel the satisfaction of a job well done. Very sadly, our society values a university education over skilled trades and certificates over apprenticeships. Places like your fan pose a challenge-perhaps the blades on the ceiling side can simply be painted. Paint drips caught within 12 hours are usually very easy to remove. Yes, a one person outfit should also do this-but its rather like a writer proofing his/her own work-you just miss stuff. That role involves specifically looking for drips and touch up, feathering needs. A two+ person crew should have a lead hand and assistant(s) whose role includes cutting in with the lead hand and doing all prep and cleanup. However, they are more easily overlooked by a single painter. Drips are not uncommon, though sloppy and should be noted and wiped immediately. The room is 'cut in' meaning edges brushed on all walls, around doors and any architectural details-then the walls are rolled over that paint quite close to the edge. This is the opposite to how that is done. The image showing the stone looks like the wall was rolled, and then brushed to the edge. The brush strokes near the cabinet suggest either that the wall was not flat before painting, or your painter is not skilled. The next time I post I should have everything finished. Then I am thinking of having a big canvas print on the opposite wall, maybe with some narrow floating bookshelves on either side, like this: I think it's going to look amazing. Shelves will be 48' wide and 16' deep under a thin 70' wide TV. Planning to copy this design: Although I will have speakers wallmounted on either side of the TV, books on the top shelf and electronics on the bottom shelf. I finally found floating shelves that for what I want. I may keep the middle curtain since I don't know if a blind that small will look silly or not, but I will talk to blinds sales people about that or find some ideas. The next time I post everything should be finished, and I will be able to show you guys a finished product/project :) I'm going to work out how to install blinds and the curtains will be gone. The Ikea floating shelves are not deep enough as I need something 16' deep, and hadn't found anything until recently. Thanks Grover, agreed with the second lamp, glad to have that confirmed. Will do sacapuntaslapioz, will go light grey or maybe a greyish green or olive dependent won what they have and what I choose for wall color. Here is a link that might be useful: Ingersoll If you Google "case garden tractor forums", you will find them quite easily. There are a couple of forums out there that specialize in keeping these tractors running. Many parts are generic and can be bought from local suppliers. However, parts are still readily available through Ingersoll dealers. Use the dealer locator at the Ingersoll site to find one near you.Ĭase sold this division in 1983 and no longer supports your tractor. These can be ordered from any Ingersoll dealer. You also need to purchase an Operator's Manual that is correct for your serial number. If your serial number is lower than the lowest of the numbers, then you need the book that says "XXXXXXXXX or before". Keep in mind that your serial number must come after the lower number mentioned but before the higher one mentioned. Scroll down and find the 446 listings and use your serial number to find the right book for your tractor. You can download a free parts manual by going to the link below and clicking on the "Illustrated Parts List".
